Welcome to my blog

Hi, I’m Reyna

After numerous years of travel and living abroad (Cayman Islands and Jamaica), two highly inspirational trips to Egypt, and feeling that mature and black solo female bloggers were underrepresented, I decided to start a blog.

This space is a journal of my travels, tips and musings that aims to inspire, empower and encourage women to explore life and new adventures in their later years on their terms.

As we get older, our circle of friends may change due to family commitments and life in general. The positive is it’s not always about other people. It is our unique journey, and we ultimately bring our happiness, which we then emit to the universe.

A bit about me

I’m based in London, England, though born and raised in Oxford. I’ve studied law and work at a law firm doing legal stuff (yawn).

My passion is travel, and I have travelled to numerous countries and in recent years done so solo. Travel and empowerment go hand-in-hand for me as I have gained confidence and growth through travel.

I’m not very good at smiling for the camera, though I do a lot in person and have a distinctive laugh!

My aim

I aim to inspire women through travel. In particular, those in their fortysomething years who are rediscovering life, finding their confidence, identifying with their purpose, and starting to live on their terms rather than old-school societal norms.

Likes/dislikes

I love festivals

I’m highly spiritual (of course – we are spirit!)

I dislike

– Fakeness
– Coriander

Welcome to my blog

Hi, I’m Reyna, a travel and lifestyle blogger with a focus on solo female travel.

After numerous years of travel, living abroad in two different countries (the Cayman Islands and Jamaica), two highly inspirational trips to Egypt, and feeling that the more mature and black solo female travellers were underrepresented, I decided to start a blog.

This space is a journal of my travels, tips and musings that aims to inspire, empower and encourage women exploring life and new adventures in their later years on their terms.
